What is your vision?
Language is the key to every successful relationship, both personal and professional. Understanding each other’s terminology, jargon, expressions, idioms, mannerisms etc. is vital in building up relationships between people. Making people understand each other is the key to every success.
What are you the expert for/should people ask your advice for?
I’m a true multi-disciplinarian, I might not be the biggest expert in one particular field, but I believe that I can combine and bring insights from different fields together to create solutions others would not have considered. So, to answer the question, people should ask my advice for cases where you need more than one discipline to succeed.
What inspires you most?
Art in all its forms, painting, photography, literature, music, the broad definition of art. Art is something that is both rational and emotional, it creates a guttural emotional response or makes you contemplate about life. The ability of artists to create something that has such influence on you is something that truly amazes me.
What drives you crazy?
Intentional incompetence. You sometimes come across people who are making the same mistake over and over again and refuse to learn from the mistakes or people trying to help them. It drives me absolutely crazy that these people either don’t care enough or worse blame the world instead of reflecting on their own actions.
What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is that every day is different. I know this sounds like the sales-pitch for every job-posting ever written, but I believe when working in our field it is actually true. One day I’ll be analysing an excel-sheet with over 30.000 entries and then next I’m having a hands-on workshop with a team. This variation is what gives me energy.
