From Croissants to Collaboration: InspiringPeople's Parisian Adventure

Last week, InspiringPeople took a trip to the City of Lights Paris, for our first quarterly city trip with all new people on board. It was an incredible experience that brought together remarkable people with a shared passion for culture work, but all with their own unique focus areas. Together we form a strong one-stop-culture-shop.

As InspiringPeople has doubled in size in the last few months, the trip was an excellent opportunity to meet up. We participated in a cross-the-line activity, which was a great icebreaker and helped us learn more about each other. We shared our personal stories and experiences, which helped us build stronger relationships, and fostered a sense of teamwork and collaboration. Our programme took off with visualizing the future together, which set the tone for the rest of the trip. It was an opportunity to reflect on our past successes and challenges and set our sights on the future. We shared new ideas and inspired each other, which sparked so much energy and strength. It was an incredible experience to be surrounded by so many individuals, who were focused on the same goals. This is one of our favourite interventions to do with clients as a start of their shared future, but it was a great experience to do so ourselves. It was a reminder of the importance of taking time to step back and reflect on our goals and strategies. By visualizing the future and working collaboratively, we were able to set a clear vision for our work and develop strategies for achieving our goals.

One of the highlights of the trip was a city walk through Paris. The city is steeped in history and culture, and it was an amazing experience to explore its streets and immerse ourselves in the local way of life. We had the opportunity to visit some of the most iconic landmarks, such as the Louvre Museum, the famous Café de Flore, and the Notre-Dame Cathedral. We also had the chance to experience the Parisian lifestyle, including its cafes, and restaurants where we enjoyed, a part of French culture, their great cuisine.

Finally, we worked on planning events for the upcoming months. We brainstormed ideas, shared insights, and collaborated on strategies to make our events successful. We connected on a series of culture themes. We are teaming up around the topics of ED&I, Employee Engagement, ESG, Health & Wellbeing, Leadership, New ways of Working, and Values. It was an incredible opportunity to work together and combine our expertise to plan a series of events. You will find out more about them soon, and for some you can already sign up!

The trip to Paris was not only a fun and exciting way to build camaraderie among the team, but it also provided us with new insights and inspiration for our work. Paris is a city that is synonymous with art, culture, and history, and being able to experience it first-hand was truly inspiring. From the incredible history to the stunning architecture and landmarks, the trip was an unforgettable cultural experience.

Overall, the trip to Paris was an amazing experience that brought together remarkable people with a shared passion for culture work. We left feeling energized and inspired, with a renewed sense of purpose and a stronger sense of teamwork. We are very proud to have gathered this amazing group of colleagues, and we are looking forward to our further growth together. We are grateful for the opportunity to have experienced such an incredible city with such an amazing group of people. We are excited to continue to build on the momentum and energy that was generated during the trip and to work together to deliver outstanding cultural experiences to our clients.
